We are currently seeking a Human Resources Generalist to support our growing manufacturing operations and play a key role in shaping the employee experience during this next phase of evolution.

Position Overview:
Summary
A Human Resource (HR) Generalist supports the organization’s HR functions within a manufacturing environment, partnering with the executive team, plant leadership and production employees to ensure compliance, workforce stability, and positive employee experience. This role manages recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, HR compliance, benefits administration, personnel records, and safety coordination. This role will be based out of Columbus, OH but will support employees throughout the United States.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Staffing
• Coordinate full-cycle recruiting, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and candidate communication.
• Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop job descriptions.
• Conduct reference checks, background checks, and employment eligibility verification.
Onboarding & Offboarding
• Facilitate new hire orientation and onboarding processes.
• Ensure completion of required forms and documentation.
• Maintain I-9 records and support E-Verify process.
• Coordinate employee offboarding, exit interviews, and termination documentation.
Employee Relations
• Serve as a first point of contact for employee questions and workplace issues.
• Investigate employee complaints and conduct workplace investigations.
• Support disciplinary actions and performance improvement plans.
• Maintain a positive, professional, and compliant workplace environment.
HR Compliance
• Ensure compliance with federal and state labor laws (FMLA, FLSA, EEO, ADA, etc.).
• Maintain and update HR policies, employee handbooks, and procedures.
• Support audits and ensure accuracy in personnel files and records.
Benefits Administration
• Assist employees with benefits enrollment, changes, and questions.
• Coordinate open enrollment activities and benefits communications.
• Liaise with insurance providers and benefits vendors.
Payroll & HRIS Support
• Enter and maintain employee data in the HRIS system.
• Support payroll processing by ensuring accurate time and attendance data.
• Generate HR reports and analytics as needed.
Training & Development
• Assist with scheduling and tracking employee training programs.
• Maintain training records and support employee development initiatives.
Skills & Qualifications
Required
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
• 3+ years of work experience in an HR Generalist, HR Administrator, or similar role.
• Knowledge of HR laws, compliance, and best practices.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• High attention to detail and confidentiality.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment
Preferred
• HR certification (SHRM-CP, PHR, etc.).
• Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS).

Position Summary: Action Group is hiring a Welder for its first shift (5 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.) and second shift (3 p.m. – 1:30 a.m.) operation four days a week at the company’s 200,000 sqft Blacklick, Ohio manufacturing facility. The welder will weld metal components together utilizing Mig, Tig, and Resistance welding.
Salary, Benefits, and Advancement Opportunities: Starting hourly wage of $20 to $24 depending on experience. Essential Job Functions:
Welds metal parts together using MIG, TIG, and RESISTANCE welding or brazing and any combination of welding processes.
Interprets engineering drawings to determine Weld Layout, Critical to Quality Characteristics (CTQ), and overall specifications required to produce quality product.
Performs related tasks such as thermal cutting and grinding.
Repairs broken or cracked parts, fills holes, and increases size of metal parts.
Positions and clamps together components of fabricated metal products preparatory to welding.
Qualifications for Success:
One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Position Overview:
A Fabricator is responsible for cutting, shaping, assembling, and finishing metal, plastic, or other materials to create components, structures, or products according to technical drawings and specifications. This role requires strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to use a variety of fabrication tools and equipment.
Key Responsibilities
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders
• Measure, cut, bend, and shape materials using saws, shears, torches, grinders, and other fabrication tools
• Perform welding (MIG, TIG, or stick) to assemble components as required
• Operate machinery such as press brakes, CNC machines, drill presses, and rollers
• Inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality standards
• Perform layout work and material preparation
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area
• Troubleshoot fabrication issues and recommend improvements
• Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and other fabrication team members
Required Skills & Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent (vocational training preferred)
• Experience in metal fabrication or a related trade
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and measurement devices
• Welding experience (certification is a plus)
• Strong understanding of shop safety procedures
• Good manual dexterity and physical stamina
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications
• Certification in welding or fabrication
• Experience with CNC or automated fabrication equipment
• Background in manufacturing, construction, or mechanical trades
• Forklift or crane operation certification
Physical Requirements
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more
• Standing, bending, and working on your feet for extended periods
• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
Work Environment
• Fabrication shop or manufacturing facility
• Exposure to noise, dust, heat, and heavy machinery
• Follows OSHA and company safety standards
While performing the functions of this job:
